XJ-Aiding Cadres Offer Intellectual Support
Since the XJ-aiding work started 10 years ago, totally 1,493 XJ-aiding cadres with professional techniques have come to serve in XJ. They take up 55.5% of the total XJ-aiding cadres, and offer precious intellectual support to XJ's development of all undertakings.
Su Jianming, vice-president of TCM Hospital of Ili Prefecture, is a XJ-aiding cadre from Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM. When she first came to Ili, she found that most of the locals had rheumatic disease, but there wasn't any rheumatism department in the hospital. Thanks to her suggestion, the TCM Hospital of Ili Prefecture set up the department of rheumatic immunization in April, 2006. Over the past two years, Su has devoted almost all her time and energy to the construction of the rheumatism department.

Over the past ten years, XJ-aiding cadres with professional techniques like Su Jianming have come to XJ in succession. They are mainly teachers and doctors, as well as experts of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, water conservancy, etc. Consequently, they play an important role in the development of education, medical service, agriculture, science and technology and other sectors of XJ.
