Manas-North Urmqi Power Project
On the morning of June 24th, XJ's 1st 300 MW generating unit and Manas to north Urumqi power transmission and transformation project completed construction and put into operation in Manas Power Plant. It is one of the key projects to implement the west-east power transmission project. Wang Lequan, member of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee, Secretary of CPC XJ Committee,Nuer Baikeli, deputy secretary of CPC XJ Committee, chairman of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region and other leaders of XJ attended the ceremony and inspected Pheonix substation of the project.
The 2x300 MW generating unit of the Manas 3rd phase enlarging project is a key project of National 11th 5-year Program. It has a total investment of 2.5 bln Yuan.
